The #Trashtag challenge is an initiative that has gone viral calling on teens to help clean up ‘our’ mess.
Quite literally, the campaign is sweeping the globe by getting young enthusiasts to clean up littered areas.

Our amazing Wild Animal Volunteers took on the challenge - and got more than they bargained for.

6 years ago, Venus a female cheetah from Cango Wildlife Ranch, made headlines as one of few animals in the world to under-go eye surgery for bilateral cataracts. Donations came from the world over to help save her deteriorating eyes from only seeing darkness. Doctor Anthony Goodhead (Cape Town) removed the cataracts and large amount of scar tissue from Venus’ corneas. Venus’ surgery was a massive success and transformed her from a scared and nervous animal to a healthy and confident cat, who thrived in her environment at last.

Due to popular demand we have decided to include our visitors in our Nile Crocodile's daily feeding and enrichment requirements!

It truly is the season to be jolly. Summer has brought with it, new hope, new energy and most-excitedly, new life! We’ve welcomed fluffy cheetah cubs, a flawless baby brown-lemur, Egyptian geese and a baby Flying Fox to the Cango Wildlife Ranch family!
