We will be joining forces with Dryland Events Management again this year, and our Operations Director, Hugo du Plessis will be taking part in the 36ONE event from 20 – 22 April 2018.

It’s been a little while since the squeaks of new-borns have had the Cango staff, especially animal-keepers, buzzing! Although the Zoological team had their suspicions that Macy, a 2 year old Slender Tailed Meerkat, might be ‘expecting’ …no one and nothing could prepare the team for the heart-melting, knee-rattling and jaw-dropping level of cuteness that was about to be experienced.

Cango Wildlife Ranch is a multi-accredited zoological facility and we uphold a high animal care standard. With this we also have the important responsibility of educating the general public on every animal we house. We always strive to set the bar of animal care as high as can possibly be attained - this is a formal practice which has been moulded for the past 30 years and is validated by various accreditations...

International Cheetah Day has become an occasion for all people around the world to celebrate this unique feline icon of speed and grace.
