Exciting news!

SATSA has established a Southern Cape Chapter in order to better serve members in this beautiful part of the world - and our Assistant Director for Tourism, Cheetah reservation Foundation and Wild Animal Volunteers, Tammy Moult has been elected!

The chapter is now served by a committee representing each region;

Tammy Moult – from Oudtshoorn (Cango Wildlife Ranch)    (Proud much?!)
Peter Dros – from George (Fancourt) – Chairperson
Mario Febbraio – from George (Tours4SA) – Vice Chair
Mandy Freeman – from Plett (Tenikwa) - Secretary
Evelyn Pepler – from Knysna (Ocean Odyssey) – Membership
Onne Vegter – from George (Wild Wings Safaris) – Communication
Marcia Holme – from Mossel Bay (Visit Mossel Bay)
Ian Hunter – from Plett (Hunter Hotels)

They've also started a Facebook page for the SATSA Southern Cape (SATSA Southern Cape Facebook Group). Feel free to follow and join that page for news and updates!

Some of their initial goals are to improve communication to and between members in the Southern Cape, promote tourism to this region, and give SATSA members in this part of the world a platform to network, share ideas, discuss issues that affect us, and function as a fully-fledged SATSA chapter without having to trek to Cape Town for every meeting.
