A Wild Deal For A Wild Year Ahead

Posted on Thu November 27, 2025.

On 28 November, Cango Wildlife will launch its annual Black Friday Special, a once-a-year opportunity for supporters, families, and local visitors to secure an Annual Membership at 50 percent off. The offer is available for one day only and is designed to make regular visits more accessible to everyone who values wildlife, education, and ethical conservation.

An Annual Membership is more than an entry ticket. It provides year-round access to our guided tours, aviary, educational spaces, newly upgraded facilities, and developing conservation projects. Members receive unlimited entry for 12 months, a bring-a-friend pass and one complimentary connection during their birthday week. The membership becomes a meaningful way to stay connected to the work happening on our grounds.

This year’s Black Friday event also includes a light-hearted addition. Guests visiting on the day will have the chance to take a photograph with our walking “crocodiles” and tag Cango Wildlife on social media. One tagged photo will be selected to receive a full refund of their Annual Membership ticket. It is a simple way to add joy to a day that already benefits conservation efforts.

The value of this annual event extends beyond the savings. Each membership purchased helps support animal care, enrichment, facility improvements, and ongoing conservation initiatives guided by Cango Wildlife and the Cheetah Preservation Foundation. It strengthens our ability to protect the species in our care and to share their stories with the public.

We encourage our community, visitors, and supporters to take advantage of this opportunity. Whether you visit for learning, photography, family outings, or simple moments of quiet connection with wildlife, an Annual Membership offers a full year of possibilities.

This season, every visit to Cango Wildlife brings more than memories. With our new Spots & Splash competition, guests have the chance to win unique wildlife experiences simply by supporting the outlets on our grounds.

The concept is simple.
Spend R200 or more anywhere on-site, excluding entrance tickets. Keep your receipt, write your name and contact number on the slip, and drop it in the entry box. Each qualifying slip becomes an entry.

From there, the fun begins.

Selected winners will receive experiences that highlight what makes Cango Wildlife special. Prizes include:

A special meet-and-greet with Herbert, our beloved Pygmy Hippo
An Annual Membership for four people, including four Ambassador Animal Connections

Ambassador Animal Connections, offering close-up educational moments with some of our most iconic animals
And the Grand Prize: a Cheetah Walk on our private reserve, guided by our experienced team.

Spots & Splash is designed to add excitement to each visit while giving back to the guests who support our conservation-driven outlets. Every coffee, keepsake, snack or gift purchased on-site contributes to the welfare, enrichment and care of the animals that call Cango Wildlife home.

By taking part, guests stand a chance to win unforgettable encounters, while directly supporting the work that keeps our facility running to a high standard of care.

Next time you visit, keep an eye out for the Spots & Splash entry box, keep your slip, and add your name.
A simple purchase might lead to one of the most memorable experiences of your year.
