For sheer thrills!!! … Explore an Ancient Temple - home to giant Flying Foxes, dazzling birdlife, diminutive antelope and thousands of sparkling Cichlids! Creep past designer hogs, malevolent vultures and playful Lemurs. Then crossover a swing-bridge precariously dangling inches above giant four meter crocodiles who leap for their dinner… and if you’re brave enough you can even dive with them in our WORLD FIRST CROCODILE CAGE-DIVE EXPERIENCE!

Need more thrills??? … Walk above the most magnificent of the world's big cats: white lions, African leopards, white snow tigers and of course our prized cheetah. You can even get to meet them face-to-face in a heartwarming close encounter! We are the biggest and oldest Cheetah contact center in the world!!! [Read more on natural encounters]

Your escape from reality continues!!! … Visit our newest encounter experience - another first in Africa... Lemur Falls! This is an interactive encounter where you can experience being surrounded by 3 unique species of Lemurs! Our beautiful black and white ruffs, exquisite ringtails and our inquisitive brown lemurs are sure to gift you with an unforgettable experience like no other! This is a loving and intimate experience for the whole family. You can then enter our Snake Park where you are met by a host of venomous creatures including the mighty King Cobra, the largest venomous snake in the world and the only one in Africa!

Brought the kids? … Then visit Kuranda Forest and Wallaby Walk-about, where they get to feed these furry friends, or play statue to the colorful yet noisy lorikeets. They will love the Petting Farmyard, the jet water-park, jumping castle and jungle-gyms in “Kidzone” catering for all ages from tiny-tots to teens.

Adrenaline makes you hungry!!! … This is why we have created two exceptional restaurants to satisfy your hunger pangs - the seasonal tropically themed “Grunts” for tasty fast-food, and the year round exotic restaurant “Turtles” serving a wide range of delicious meals from toasted treats to gourmet Crocodile steaks. Thirsty? No need to worry…  both restaurants are also fully licensed!

Oh, and when you leave us - just to make sure everyone believes you - your magical moments will be captured and presented to you in a souvenir folder by our professional photographic team. You can also take home a memento from our well-stocked souvenir shop!

Get lost!!! … In a world like no other, at this fully accredited zoological park. We are also proud holders of TripAdvisor's Certificate of Excellence for the fourth consecutive year in a row!

We are situated just outside of Oudtshoorn in the Garden Route's Little Karoo, South Africa.

Whilst our encounters program allows you to have a ‘once in a lifetime', face-to-face experience with a selection of incredible animals - where you can touch a Cheetah, enjoy the playful nature of a Tiger cub, wrap yourself in a giant Python, cover yourself in Lorikeets and even dive with our Nile Crocodiles, these natural encounters are at an additional cost to your entrance ticket and age restrictions may apply. (Rates & age limits appear elsewhere on this website).

At Cango Wildlife Ranch, we believe that the experience of a natural encounter between you, our visitor, and the Ranch's ambassador species, assists us in creating public awareness for the plight of these magnificent animals in their natural environments. All encounters are controlled to ensure your safety, and to guarantee that the well-being and welfare of all our animals remains our priority.
