Duties will include but not be limited to:

Accommodate visitors partaking in our Natural Encounter program and provide a once in a lifetime experience
Educating visitors on our work in conservation
Cleaning and maintenance of animal exhibits
Preparation and documentation of animal diets
Training of Animals for Ambassadorial and Husbandry purposes
Ensuring safe practice at all times as per Safety Protocols put in place
Ad hoc duties as needed within the animal department or other departments.


Minimum requirement:  Diploma in Conservation/Animal Care/Game Ranch Management or proven record of years of employment in the industry
Must be willing to work under strict conditions
Previous experience in captive animal husbandry/management will be an advantage
Passion for animals, conservation and customer care
Knowledge and understanding of animal training would be an advantage
Valid driver’s license with own or reliable transport
Must be able to work weekends and public holidays
Accurate, Strong communication skills, organised and have a friendly manner
Work under pressure and deadline-driven
Ability to spot risks & resolve problems efficiently
Fully Bilingual / Fluent (English/Afrikaans)
Available full time
Self-management capabilities
South African citizen
Excellent physical and mental health
